Responsibilities of the role:
*Create and optimise online adverts through Google AdWords (search, display, mobile, video), Facebook and other platforms to increase brand awareness and drive sales
*Manage the content strategy, including copy-writing and website updates
*Write engaging and shareable content across different platforms, including social media, websites and emails
*Be actively involved in SEO efforts (content, keyword, image optimisation etc.)
*Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organise its distribution
*Market growth: Plan and monitor the ongoing presence on social media and website
*Brief and chase creative
*Collaborate with designers and outsourced suppliers to improve user experience
*Brief technical updates to the development team, review and testing of deliverables
*Taking the media plan and turning into a digital campaign by ensuring correct dates, targeting, budgets, objectives and placements are applied
*Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and optimise on an ongoing basis
*Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
*Create and add UTM tags or similar onto material and all online advertising platforms
*Provide launch reports and regular interim as well as monthly reports

Requirements:
*Excellent knowledge of Online Advertising Platforms (ideally Google qualified & holding industry related qualifications e.g. Hubspot, Hootsuite, Facebook Blueprint)
*Excellent knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
*Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, DoubleClick)
*Analytical mindset and critical thinking
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Applicant should have a relevant Marketing degree or Diploma (BCom Marketing, Diploma in Marketing, Diploma in Advertising, Digital Qualifications)
*Attention to detail, enjoy working with numbers and have an eagerness to learn
*Participate in formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
*Proven experience as Digital Marketer or similar role
*Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
*Experience with B2C social media, Google AdWords and email campaigns and SEO / SEM / Growth hacking
